Following the successful assembly of their first NOVATRON 1 (N1) prototype ready for plasma experiments at the end of 2024, Novatron Fusion Group has announced a strategic partnership with Oxford Sigma as they move into 2025. We at InnoEnergy are proud to support Novatron as they move closer to their goal of delivering a clean, abundant, and reliable energy source to the world.
This collaboration represents yet another step towards making fusion energy a reality. It aims to streamline nuclear engineering, validate scientific principles, and prepare for the industrialization of fusion energy. Peter Roos, CEO of Novatron Fusion Group, said that “[a] partnership with Oxford Sigma will accelerate our development of core technologies for the NOVATRON fusion reactor concept. Fusion power is the holy grail for mankind, supplying clean, safe, and abundant energy to industry and society. This can only be achieved in collaborations, combining advanced knowledge, skills, and perseverance.”
