EIT InnoEnergy, the leading innovation engine in sustainable energy, initiated a collaboration between its venture ECOP Technologies and SPIE Nederland, aiming to promote and successfully implement decarbonization solutions for industrial clients.

ECOP Technologies developed an industrial high temperature heat pump, enabling efficient decarbonization of industrial processes in the ranges of 100-150 degrees Celsius, commonly used in the food and beverage sector. SPIE is a renowned solution integrator offering services ranging from detailed engineering, production, installation, and maintenance.

The collaboration has the objective to evaluate various applications of the Rotation Heat Pump, scale-up production and to install economic, decarbonized solutions already today. The combined efforts and competences of both companies will accelerate the decarbonization and reduction of dependence on natural gas of industries.
